It was Valentine's Day. The main act of the event was Duncan Sheik, I wasn't really fond of him since I thought he was like a one hit wonder. What I was interested was the opening act: this girl. To be honest I wasn't really obsessed with her music, I did listen to some of her songs, and she seemed pretty cool I guess (I was a poser back then --still am) and I got a free ticket so I decided to go there.
The venue was obviously packed, I wasn't really paying attention to anything rather than the tall glass of Long Island on my hand. After the show was done, my friends take me to the backstage and I was already tipsy so I thought why not. And there she was, laughing and being really noisy, she seemed really drunk and fun to be with. I approached her and we started mumbling to each other since we were both intoxicated, we got along really fast, mainly because we found out that we are both librans and the conversation just ran really fun afterwards. Next thing I knew, we took a photo of us kissing each other's cheek. It was so weird and lovely.
I should've talked about the show here but those moments pretty much outshined everything. Twas a great night.
